FAQs

What is the “Dashboard”?
When you log into the Contractor Community website, you are routed to your Dashboard.  The Dashboard is your control panel for your website.  You can modify any information you previously entered during the registration process as well as continue to add new content to your website through the Dashboard.

What is the symbol?
If you put your mouse over any ? symbol, you will notice that a helpful pop-up description appears.  Many of the fields within the Dashboard have these ? symbols to assist you in determining what information to fill into these fields.

How do I save uploaded photos/videos in my Dashboard?
When uploading photos or videos, make sure you press the “Save” button at the bottom or top of the screen.

How do I restore a website theme back to default settings?
If you don’t like your color or font (text) modifications and you want to restore the original website theme colors or fonts, follow these steps under “Website Theme” in your Dashboard.  Click on each of the color boxes and erase your entries.  To reset “Font” and “Font Size” to their original settings, choose “Select Font Title” and “Select Font Size” in the respective fields.

Should I change my original password?
We recommend changing your password right when you log into your Dashboard for the first time as the original password is hard to remember.  Choose any password you like.

When should I upgrade or downgrade my membership level?
Our billing system is set up to charge your preferred payment method on the day after you originally register with Contractor Community.  If you wish to upgrade or downgrade your membership level, you will want to make this change as close to your original billing date as possible since you will be charged the then-current membership rate for the new package you are choosing.  For example, if you are billed on the 26th of the month, change your membership package on the 25th of the month.  Your new membership will supersede your original subscription.  Please refer to our Terms of Use for more information.

What is the name of my website?

Your unique URL address will be as follows:  www.Viewbio.com/CustomWebsiteName.

For example, if you named your website CJ Landscape during registration, then your website address would be:   www.Viewbio.com/cjlandscape

Your website name should not have any spaces or apostrophes AND don't put .com after the end of the name.  This name is what you put on your business cards and other marketing materials.

How do I cancel my membership?

You may terminate your membership and/or subscription at any time, for any reason.  To terminate service, select Billing Information and then choose Cancel Membership.  If you terminate your membership and/or subscription, your subscription will remain active until the end of your then-current subscription period (that is, the subscription period through which you had paid prior to your termination).

How do I reactivate my membership?

You can reactivate your membership by logging into your account and then selecting Billing Information.  Click on the Activate Account button and fill in the required billing information.
